Healthcare throughout Nepal is a major issue and dental care perhaps even more so.  It is estimated there are only 350 dentists throughout the entire country that is home to about 30 million people.  Your assistance in this program will not only give you unprecedented experience in your field, but you will also be making a huge impact on the local community.  You will have the opportunity to interact with patients, shadow dentists and administrate various dental procedures, depending on your experience. These positions are open for dental students and junior/senior level undergraduates who have related experience/education and plan to pursue a career in the field.

Leading a healthy lifestyle is a delicate balance between eating right and regular exercise. Everyone has different motivations for eating well, whether that is to lose weight, treat an ailment, or prevent diseases. This internship program will involve shadowing a dietician or nutrition specialist to better understand how this field is managed in Italy, what the trends are, and where the field is headed. Reviewing patient files and assisting with research projects to better study the effects of diet, health and nutrition.

Promote the benefits of leading a healthy lifestyle through regular exercise, a proper diet and a positive approach to life to Catalonians. Interns will be exposed to the different areas including health coaching, personal training, nutritional services, fitness testing, and health fairs and screening events. You could work alongside a sports team and be involved in training and management, be involved with the marketing of a local wellness company or even teach sports at a summer camp!

There are thousands of people in Ecuador who receive little to no healthcare and who are deprived of health related resources and services. On this internship program in Ecuador, interns can educate children and adults on proper hygiene, sanitation, health issues, and nutrition. Other outreach programs such as public health campaigns and projects are also available and will focus on improving the current health situation in Ecuador. 

Advanced pre-med and nursing students can work in clinical settings and assist in the admitting of patients, administering of basic first aid, and shadowing of doctors. 

There are many possibilities for internships in Health and Human services.  Interns have worked at hospitals, physical and occupational therapy providers and in different social work associations.  In France, students can observe in a hospital before entering Medical school and have also worked in research roles!   Parisians have access to top-notch medical care, making France’s largest city a great place to learn about the medical field!

* Must be a current University student to intern in France.

* Intermediate to Advanced knowledge of the French language required.

London has a well developed healthcare system and is a leader in the field of medical research, making it an ideal place to study and practice health!  You can conduct research in Medical and Science Institutes, intern with health based charities, and work in various treatment centers to learn more about practices such as play therapy and mental health therapy.
